A candidate’s score in the CFA exam is represented by a grey line. If the thicker line is above the MPS, it indicates that the candidate passed; if it is below, it indicates that the candidate failed.
CFA Institute tries to determine a candidate’s true ability by taking into account both positive and negative factors.
