NEET UG 2025 Counselling: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has made a few changes again to the NEET UG Counselling 2025 schedule for Round 1. Students who are planning to take part in Round 1 can now find the new updated dates on the official MCC website mcc.nic.in.
Earlier, the schedule was already changed once, and now MCC has released another revised version. According to the new update, students who want to register for the first round still have time. The registration window is now open until August 6, 2025, and students can register up to 3 p.m. on that day. But if anyone needs to reset their registration, they can do that only until 12 noon on August 6.

Choice Filling and Locking Details
The process of selecting colleges and courses, which is known as choice filling, will continue until August 7, 2025. This gives students a little extra time to decide and fill in their preferences carefully.
The choice locking option which means students have to finally confirm the choices they have filled will begin on August 6 and stay open until August 7. Once a student locks their choices, they cannot change them again, so they have to be sure before confirming.
Seat Allotment
Once the choice filling is done, MCC will start the seat allotment process for Round 1. This will happen over two days, from August 7 to August 8, 2025. After thi, the result of which college each student has been allotted to will be announced on August 9, 2025.
After the results come out, students will have to report to the allotted colleges to finish the admission process. The reporting dates are from August 9 to August 18, 2025. During this time, students must visit their colleges with all the required documents and complete the joining formalities.

NEET UG Counselling 2025: How to register for Round 1
To register online, candidates can follow the steps given below.
1. Visit the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in.
2. Click on NEET UG Counselling 2025 registration link available on the home page.
3. A new page will open where candidates will have to register online.
4. Once registration is done, make the payment of application fee.
5. Click on submit and download the confirmation page.
6. Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.
