People online said the scene looked so lovely that it felt like something from a Disney film.
The clip was widely shared with the claim that it showed a rural scene in Bangladesh, but a later fact-check said it was actually filmed in Sri Lanka.

Why people called her a Disney Princess?
Viewers were drawn to the child’s calm way of moving around the animals and the soft, countryside setting around her. The background had flooded rice fields and palm trees, which made the scene look extra peaceful.
Many people online said the child seemed very comfortable with nature, and some even called her a “real-life Disney princess.”
The reactions shared with the clip included, “Age of pure innocence.”, “No CGI needed for a moment like this.”, and “Beautiful video.”
The video was first linked to a Facebook account named Prabath Silva, and the original post was shared on 11 June. That post used Sinhala text, which the fact-check report said pointed toward Sri Lanka. The same account also had other videos showing the same child and the porcupine, including one where the animal was being bottle-fed and another where the child was seen playing with it. The account profile also listed Polonnaruwa in Sri Lanka as its location.

Even though many people loved the clip, there was also a big argument about where it was filmed. Some users from Bangladesh said the child was speaking Bangla and insisted the video came from Bangladesh.
Their comments included, “She is from Bangladesh… stop claiming everything.” and “This video is from Bangladesh.” At the same time, the fact-check report said reverse image search and the Sinhala captions linked the video to Sri Lanka, not Bangladesh.
The discussion kept growing because some people cared more about the video’s sweet feeling, while others wanted the correct place to be known. The fact-check report said the earliest known upload came from the Sri Lankan account and that the on-screen and caption text were in Sinhala.
