Jharkhand draft voter list 2026: Jharkhand’s SIR and the draft voter list will be released on Wednesday. At the same time, people will also be able to file claims and objections against the draft list. This process will run until September 4. Along with the draft roll, the ASDD list, which stands for Absent, Shifted, Death, Duplicate, will also be shared both online and offline for public viewing in every Assembly constituency.

What will be in the Draft Roll?
The draft list has been prepared from the counting forms that voters filled out and signed during the enumeration stage. According to the figures shared so far, 2,20,94,859 voters will be included in the draft voter list. At the same time, 43,68,377 names have been removed from the earlier voter list. These numbers will be updated again when the final figures are released on Wednesday.
People whose names are missing from the draft list will still get a chance to fix it. They can add their names by filing Form 6 as part of the claim and objection process. They will also need to submit the required documents with the form. The draft list will be open for public checking in each Assembly constituency, so voters can look at their own name, details, and other entries.
CEO’s Appeal
Chief Electoral Officer K. Ravi Kumar has said that the voter list made through the special revision process is meant to stay as an important record for the future. He also appealed to all eligible Indian citizens to take part in the current SIR and make sure their names are added to the voter list.
He asked voters to check their own details carefully and also tell family members, neighbours, friends, and co-workers to do the same.

He also urged people to download the Election Commission of India’s ECINET app, since it can help with Form 6 filling, voter list details, and other election-related information. On Wednesday, the #NewVoters campaign will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The goal is to bring more young and eligible citizens into the voter list and support their participation in democracy. Educational institutions, BLA 2 members of recognised political parties, volunteers, BLOs and all other SIR stakeholders have all been asked to join the campaign.
