Bhopal Metro Revised Schedule From September 15: Bhopal Metro passengers will have a new train timetable from September 15. The Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MPMRCL) is changing the operating hours and train frequency on the Bhopal Metro corridor. The revised schedule is meant to match passenger demand during different parts of the day.
The Bhopal Metro’s operational stretch currently runs between Subhash Nagar and AIIMS Bhopal. The new schedule gives commuters more trains during the evening when passenger movement is expected to be higher.

What Are The New Bhopal Metro Train Timings?
As per the revised schedule, regular Bhopal Metro services will run from 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM. The number of trains will change during the day depending on the rush.
From 11:30 AM to 5 PM, passengers will get a metro every 30 minutes. After that, services will become more frequent.
From 5 PM to 7:30 PM, trains will run every 15 minutes. This means passengers travelling during the evening rush won’t have to wait as long for the next train.
At Subhash Nagar Metro Station, the first train will start at 11:30 AM and the last departure will be at 7 PM. At AIIMS Bhopal, services will begin at around 12 PM, while the final train will leave at 7:30 PM. Current timetable information also lists Subhash Nagar as the starting point towards AIIMS and AIIMS as the return-side terminal.

Metro Services To Extend On Sundays & Public Holidays
There will be longer operating hours on Sundays and public holidays. On these days, Bhopal Metro services will continue until 8:30 PM.

The extended schedule will start at 11:30 AM. From 1 PM onwards, trains will operate every 15 minutes, giving passengers a shorter waiting time throughout the busier part of the day.
At Subhash Nagar, the first train will leave at 11:30 AM and the final departure will be at 8 PM. At AIIMS Bhopal, the first train will depart at 12 PM and the last one will leave at 8:30 PM.
Indore Metro Also Gets A Major Expansion
Bhopal isn’t the only Madhya Pradesh city seeing metro development. Indore Metro recently opened its new Priority Corridor-2. The newly inaugurated section is around 11 km long and has 11 stations. It runs from Super Corridor-3 to Malviya Nagar Chauraha. With this addition, Indore’s operational metro network has reached around 17 km with 16 stations. The total project cost for the network is around ₹4,370 crore.
