Tata Sierra #DARK Launched:Tata Motors has introduced the Sierra #DARK in India. This SUV now has a fully black outside look. Inside, the cabin gets a black and violet theme. The car sits on the same Legend Series SUV line that was recently launched.
The starting price is ₹13.99 lakh ex-showroom. It rises to ₹21.59 lakh ex-showroom for the top spec version.
You can get the Sierra Dark from the Pure L trim. It uses the usual Sierra engine and transmission setup. The equipment list also stays the same as the standard Sierra.
The Dark add-on is not priced the same across all trims. On the Pure L, it costs ₹20,000 more. For the higher trims, the premium is ₹30,000 over the matching regular versions.

Tata Sierra Dark Edition: What’s New?
The main update is the look. This Sierra SUV comes in a Friesian Black outside paint. It also uses darker Tata badges and dark alloy wheels. There is black trim on the outside too. Up front, the front fenders get the #DARK badge that stands out.
The cabin is also mostly black. Tata adds violet or purple accents throughout. You will notice seat stitching that stands out more because of the contrast. There are also metallic trim parts inside.
This is mostly a style package. It does not add a new set of mechanical changes. The added features and the engine choices still follow the base Sierra variant you start with.

Tata Sierra Dark Edition: Engine and Specs
The Dark Edition keeps the Sierra’s current engines. There is a 1.5 liter petrol motor with 106 hp and 145 Nm. Another option is a 1.5 liter diesel with 118 hp. You also get a 1.5 liter Hyperion turbo petrol with 160 hp and 255 Nm.
Booking updates
Tata has launched the Sierra Dark Edition in India on September 21, 2026. Customers can place bookings now. Reports say deliveries will start in October 2026.
This Dark Edition is a factory styled version in a black theme. Tata has not changed the SUV’s main mechanical setup. The starting price is ₹13.99 lakh for the Pure L Dark, which is the first model in this new black lineup.
