Giving his view on the Bulandshahr violence incident the Uttar Pradesh DGP OP Singh has recently said that the incident is a big conspiracy and is not a law and order issue. He further questioned, “How did the cattle carcass reach there? Who brought it, why and under what circumstances?”
Talking to media, Singh said, “We are also looking into the angle to check whether the timing was a suspect and whether it coincided with 6 December which also happens to be the anniversary for Babri Masjid demolition”.
According to Singh, the police are currently looking at all the possible angles of the case.
Meanwhile, the UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath who faced questions over his silence of the matter will now be meeting the family of the deceased Subodh Singh tomorrow in Lucknow.
Om Prakash Singh is a 1983 batch IPS officer of Uttar Pradesh Cadre. He became the Director General of UP Police in January this year. Earlier he has held positions as the Director General of CISF and Director General of NDRF.
