Adampur is one of the 90 constituencies to go for polls for Haryana Legislative Assembly on October 21. Adampur falls under Sirsa Lok Sabha constituency of Haryana. Kuldeep Bishnoi is the current MLA of Adampur.

In the 2014 Haryana Vidhan Sabha (Haryana Legislative Assembly) Elections, HJCBL candidate Kuldeep Bishnoi defeated INLD’ Kulveer Singh Beniwal.

Out of the 90 Assembly constituencies in Haryana, 17 are reserved for Scheduled Castes as per the Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly Constituencies Order, 2008.
