Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar on Wednesday unveiled the release date of his upcoming film ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ that is going to be premiered on the OTT platform Disney+Hotstar. The film is all set to release on November 9.
Sharing the teaser of the film on social media platforms, Kumar wrote, “Iss Diwali aapke gharon mein “laxmmi” ke saath ek dhamakedar “bomb” bhi aayega. Aa rahi hai #LaxmmiBomb 9th November ko, only on @DisneyPlusHSVIP.
A lot of buzz has been created already over the fact that Akshay Kumar will be seen in the unusual role of a man possessed by the vengeful spirit of a transgender woman.
The upcoming comedy horror film is a Hindi remake of popular Tamil film Muni 2: Kanchana (2011). Laxmmi Bomb is directed by Raghava Lawrence, who helmed the original as well. The film will star Kiara Advani as the female lead. Tusshar Kapoor and Sharad Kelkar will join the leads in the film to play important characters.
