The 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama will celebrate his 59th birthday on August 4. First elected to the presidency in 2008, Obama was the first African-American to be elected as the President of the United States. He served two terms, in 2008 and 2012.

In 1992, he married Michelle Robinson, who also graduated from Harvard Law, and in 1998 they welcomed Malia to the family. Three years later, in 2001, the couple had their second daughter, Sasha.

Barack has won two Grammy Awards. He won the Grammy for Best Spoken Word Album twice for his novels, Dreams From My Father and The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream.
