According to police, the SUV’s occupants were returning from a marriage ceremony when a cement-laden tractor came from the opposite direction and hit their vehicle.

Ramesh Kumar, the DSP of Gogri, said the injured had been taken to a nearby hospital. Bodies are being sent to Khagaria Sadar Hospital for autopsy.

According to the police officer, the marriage party was returning to Marhaiya Bithla village from Thutti Mohanpur village in the district. The cause of the accident could not be determined at this time. An investigation is being conducted, he said.
