Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will start the evaluation for class 10th board exam answer sheets from Wednesday, May 6 onwards during the lockdown. As the resumption of evaluation work will start from May 6, class 10th Bihar Board exam candidates can expect their results soon on its official website.
Bihar Board class 12th results for all streams i.e., arts, science and commerce have already been announced on March 24 on its official website amid lockdown.
While speaking in an interview with Hindustan Times, BSEB chairperson Anand Kishor said, “We are trying to find out possible ways for carrying out evaluation work. Since we have around 25% of answer sheets unchecked, less number of evaluators would be required for assessment. A week will be enough to settle the remaining work.”
He also said that the evaluation process will be done carefully keeping in mind the precautions and practicing social distancing in order to keep the evaluators safe.
BSEB deferred all evaluation work for class 10th board exam answer sheets after the announcement of nationwide lockdown on March 22.
Initially, it was suspended till March 31 followed by April 14 then, after that again the lockdown 2.0 was announced. Later, with the announcement of Lockdown 3.0 till May 3, it was again extended till May 3.
Now the board has declared that the evaluation process of board exam copies will resume from May 6, 2020. Around 12 lakh candidates of Bihar Board 10th exam are eagerly waiting for their results.
