In a shocking incident reported, a journalist who was covering and reporting the long-going extortion and corruption in a private hospital, was ruthlessly beaten and abused by a bouncer in Patna, Bihar.

According to the reports, while doctors misbehaved and asked for high money charges from poor patients, the victim reporter standing at distance shot the moment in the camera. However, he ran out of luck when the hospital’s bouncer caught him and thrashed him brutally.

The journalist was severely injured after the tussle with the bouncer. His camera was reportedly broken.

There are no reports from the police officials yet.

This is not the first time that the journalist reporting an important and corruption-related incident witnessed opposition and hindrance from the ones who are powerful.

Just a few days back, around 100 media personnel, including women, were attacked in Kerala since protests erupted after two women prayed at the Sabarimala temple.
