A video has emerged from Gaya which has again raised questions about the safety of women in Bihar. The young woman who visited her male friend was abused and harassed by a group of men. The video of the incident is going viral on social media. After the video went viral, the police came into action and SSP Aditya Kumar has directed all the people to be identified and arrested.
This incident happened when a girl from a village in Fatehpur block of Gaya was returning from school with his male friend. On the way, some men from the village surrounded the two and started harassing her, and forcibly took videos of her. The group of men asked the girl about her caste and then snatched her scarf, so the girl can’t cover her face from their camera.
The accused in the video could be seen asking the student for her name, father’s name, address, and caste. The boy who accompanied the schoolgirl was then slapped and beaten up by the accused. The video is said to be of February 20.
The entire video of the molestation has gone viral on social media and the police have come into action. Gaya SSP Aditya Kumar has ordered Fatehpur Thana to immediately file a designated FIR against all the alleged involved.
