A woman officer at the Kankarbagh area in Patna has accussed police personnel of sexual exploitation. The officer has lodged an FIR at women’s police station for rape, cheating, and using scheduled caste to call off the marriage. The woman official alleged that the FIR has been lodged for 10 days, despite the arrest warrant against the policeman, while the word ‘ caste indicator ‘ has been used to give evidence of abusive speech and sexual exploitation in the police station.
The woman has allegedly said that for the past 16 years, she was in a love relationship with officer Rajmani. After getting a job, Rajmani promised to marry her. Later, he called off the marriage saying he could not marry her as she is a scheduled caste woman. All the relatives of Rajmani were aware of their relationship. After the job, he kept giving a wedding hoax.
According to the statement given by the victim, she was employed in the year 2013 and Rajmani was posted in Gaya district, Bihar. After his job, she continued to help Rajmani financially. On the occasion of the wedding, Rajmani said his marriage has already been finalised and cannot deny the marriage as the bride’s family gave an immense sum of money as dowry.
