Patna: In a concerning development, a portion of the boundary wall of the Patna Secretariat’s ‘Vikas Bhawan’ collapsed on Wednesday due to heavy rainfall in the city. Fortunately, there were no reports of casualties or injuries.
The incident occurred as torrential rains battered the city, exposing the vulnerability of the infrastructure. The collapsed section of the wall, which serves as a perimeter for one of the most significant administrative buildings in Bihar, has raised questions about the structural integrity and maintenance practices of such critical facilities.

Local residents quickly gathered at the site, expressing their concern over the incident. “This could have been a major disaster if it had occurred during working hours when people are around,” commented one of the onlookers.
