Greater Noida: A woman’s body was found inside a closed flat at Arihant Ardan Society, it was allegedly reported that the married woman was killed by her boyfriend. The police have arrested the woman’s boyfriend on the charges of murder.
Police said that the accused was blackmailing the woman and later murdered her.
The accused is named as Raghav. The married woman and Raghav met on the Like App and thus became friends over it, the relationship took a turn as the woman caught feelings for Raghav and he started blackmailing her, said police.
According to reports, the body of the woman was found inside the closed flat at Arihant Ardan Society, The police received information of the blood flowing out of the closed apartment and thus police rushed to the place immediately. When the police reached they found the dead body soaked in blood all over her body, the deceased is identified as Neerja Chauhan.

On getting the information, the top police officials reached the spot. The police took the body and sent it for postmortem. After that forensic team also reached the spot and collected evidence, the police had prima facie feared murder by a close friend. The woman’s husband is working as a DGM in NTPC.
DCP Central Zone Harish Chander said that police had received information that blood was coming out of a closed flat of Arihant Arden Society.
According to the police, there have been no signs of robbery or theft in the flat. There is no sign of any kind of misdeed or any such attempt. According to the DCP, the reasons for the murder will be known only after the post-mortem report.
