Seems like the Twitter battles are a never-ending affair. Long gone are the days when you would believe a renowned celebrity could be roasted on the social media.

This time the American rapper, Kanye West, was on the receiving end of a sick twitter roast. On Sunday, Ye tweeted, “McDonald’s is my favourite restaurant”. It took UK’s Burger King handle a few hours to come up with a response to their competitors’ praise. The franchise’s tweet read, “Explains a lot”. A couple of hours later, the tweet was already viral. Burger King kept the hilarious streak going by tweeting, “If we knew this was going to blow up we would make a SoundCloud..,”.

Earlier, the singer famously wrote a poem called, “The McDonald’s Man”, where he particularly admired the food chain giant’s fries.

Going by Kanye’s Twitter history it won’t be a surprise if the rapper makes a witty comeback to the Burger King’s tweet.
