Cancer patient from Rajasthan asks Ajay Devgn to not promote tobacco products

The family of the patient revealed that he was a big fan of Ajay Devgn and used the same product which the actor advertise but now he has realized that tobacco has had an adverse effect on his health

A cancer patient from Rajasthan, Nanakram (40) has made a public appeal to Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn to not to promote advertisement of tobacco in the interest of the society.

The family of the patient revealed that he was a big fan of Ajay Devgn and used the same product which the actor advertise but now he has realized that tobacco has had an adverse effect on his health.

Nanakram has addressed the actor in nearly 1000 pamphlets about how much he and his family used to chew tobacco. They have been circulated and posted on the walls in Sanganer, Jagatpura and nearby areas of the city.

The patient’s son Dinesh Meena told a news agency that “My father Nanakram Meena started chewing tobacco a few years ago and was using the same brand for which Devgn does the advertisement. My father was impressed by Devgn but when he was diagnosed with cancer, he felt that such a big star should not advertise for this kind of products.”

He also mentioned in the pamphlet that advertisements of things like liquor, cigarette, and tobacco were harmful and that actors should not promote these things.

Nanakram is a father of two children and earlier he used to sell tea, now that he cannot speak, he runs his family by selling milk at home in Sanganer town of Jaipur.

On the work front, the actor is gearing up for his upcoming romantic comedy De De Pyaar De which h stars Tabu and Rakul Preet in the lead roles.
