Case against TV actor Prashanthi, five others for blocking man from watch IPL match at Uppal stadium

A case has been registered against six persons including a Telugu TV actor Prashanthi by consuming alcohol and obstructing the complainant and threatening him during the Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket match at Sunday at Rajiv Gandhi Cricket Stadium in Uppal.

Going by the reports, Santhosh Upadhyay, Vice President of Bharath Financial Inclusion Limited, filed a complaint with the Uppal police stating that six persons while viewing the match from a corporate box got drunk and lost control to the extent that he couldn’t get a view of what was happening on the field.

According to the complainant, Prashanthi and five others didn’t allow him to watch the match between Sun Risers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders. They also abused and threatened him.

Based on the complaint, the police registered a case against the accused persons – K Purnima, K Priya, C Prashanthi, V Srikanth Reddy, L Suresh, and G Venu Gopal, under sections 341, 188, and 506 of the IPC and section 70(b) of the City Police Act for further investigation.
