Chinese Influencer Zhou Yuan: Zhou Yuan is a Chinese influencer many people call the “Godmother of Sexual Intelligence”. She is in her late 40s and comes from Changsha in Hunan province in China. She used to worked in a bank and later she quit that job and opened a beauty salon. After that she started a school called the Black and White Sexual Intelligence School.
Zhou says ‘sexual intelligence’ means knowing how to attract men using confidence feelings and charm. Her lessons became very popular on Chinese social media and she gained more than 200,000 followers in a short time. In one video she teaches eye contact, she tells women to “form an X shape with your eyes and body”. She asks women to “soften your voice and raise the pitch at the end of each word” while praising their partner.

How Her Courses Made Money?

Zhou sold both online and offline classes, some online lessons cost only 9.9 yuan which is about US$1.5. Her most expensive private workshops went up to 88,000 yuan which is around US$13,000. Reports say her paid classes earned more than 24 million yuan which is about US$3.5 million, this is over Rs 32 crore.
She also runs in person events, last year she held a two day camp in Xiamen called “Sexy Revelation”. At this camp women learned about “the science of body pleasure” and listened to talks on sexual wisdom. Many women who attended were successful in life but wanted to fix or improve their marriages.
Criticism and Online Ban
Not everyone likes what Zhou teaches as some people accused her of running “mistress training”. Others said she teaches women to “pander to men”. Critics also said her videos look too sexual and followed a fixed formula. They believe her ideas turn women empowerment into tricks and acting.

Zhou has answered these claims by saying her work helps women feel strong and confident in relationships. She says it helps women take control of their own lives and saw nothing wrong with ehr course. Even after her social media accounts were banned last week, her ideas kept spreading. Phrases like “send your gaze” and “form your body into an X shape” turned into viral memes.
