NEW DELHI: The Common Law Admission Test or CLAT 2020 has been held today across 203 exam centres. At the first instance, several aspirants have called CLAT 2020 paper a bit lengthy with big paragraphs. The answer key of CLAT 2020 will be released anytime in the evening.
There are 22 national law universities that are participating in CLAT 2020. The participating NLUs would be offering nearly 2538 seats in 5year integrated law courses and around 724 in LLM courses.
About 78,000 candidates were registered for CLAT this year. The Consortium has so far not disclosed the number of candidates who actually taken the exam.
Procedure to calculate probable score using CLAT answer key 2020:
The provisional answer key would be out today shortly. The candidate can cross-check their answers with the answer keys released to calculate: a) the number of correct, and b) the number of incorrect attempts.
The use official marking scheme to calculate probable scores:
+1 mark for a correct answer
-1/4 mark for an incorrect answer
0 marks for un-attempted questions
CLAT result to be declared on October 5:
After a Supreme Court guideline, which requested it to release the results of the exam as soon as possible, the NLU Consortium will announce CLAT result 2020 on October 5.
The result will be available in the form of rank cards. Shortlisted candidates would have to appear in counselling and seat allotment process which will be conducted from October 5 to October 15.
