Amidst COVID-19 havoc throughout the world, a new update has come around that UK President Boris Johnson has been tested positive of coronavirus. Due to COVID-19 stir around the world, a lot of places have gone under lockdown. India currently has implemented a 21-day lockdown in aims of contacting COVID-19.
“He was tested for coronavirus on the personal advice of England’s chief medical officer, Professor Chris Whitty,” a statement said. He will still be in charge of the government’s handling of the crisis, the statement added.
Over the last 24 hours I have developed mild symptoms and tested positive for coronavirus.
I am now self-isolating, but I will continue to lead the government’s response via video-conference as we fight this virus.
Together we will beat this. #StayHomeSaveLives pic.twitter.com/9Te6aFP0Ri
