CPI (ML) leader in Jharkhand beaten to death: On Monday, police reported that a CPI (ML) district committee member was battered to death in the Latehar district of Jharkhand over a land dispute.

Police say that 45-year-old Nandev Singh was murdered by his relatives over a piece of land in the Jalima village, approximately 130 kilometres from the state capital of Ranchi.
Manika police station supervisor Bhan Pratap stated, “The occurrence occurred on Sunday. An investigation has commenced. The suspect will shortly be apprehended.”
Ajay Yadav, a member of the CPI(ML), stated that Nandev was a district committee member of the party. “We demand the immediate arrest of the accused,” he declared.
