Crying between 7 PM to 10 PM can help you lose weight, claims study

Although to our own self we might find crying as toxic we have many times heard that it is absolutely okay to cry. It is important for strong mental health that the emotional outbursts come out.

A recent study has given us another important reason yet a positive one about crying and this is not known to many of us. As per research, tears can help you lose weight especially if you are weeping between 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

Crying not only helps to lessen emotional distress but effectively help lose extra kilos. A study published in AsiaOne revealed that the reason tears are healthy is because of the hormones triggered during crying help to regulate the cortisol that forms when emotions are bottled up.

The study further highlights that there are three types of tears, the basal tears (that keeps our eyes moist), reflex tears (caused by environmental stressors such as smoke) and psychic tears (linked with emotions). The fact is that only psychic tears can help you lose weight.

The scientists have advised that crying between 7 pm and  10 pm every day. The study even highlighted that stress-induced tears to remove many kinds of toxic substances from the body, a claim which was backed by biochemist William Frey.

Next time if you think crying is toxic, remember that it can help you shed some extra kilos but don’t go overboard with it as it can lead to some other health issues.
