Third in the row within the span of two weeks, reportedly one CISF Jawan and three others were killed in the Naxal attack in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada on Thursday.
According to initial reports, the Naxals triggered an IED blast on a bus near Bacheli in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada. Two injured CISF personnel have been shifted to hospital.
The yet another shocking incident has occurred just four days before the insurgency-hit area is expected to vote for state elections.
In a similar incident, a Doordarshan crew was attacked in Dantewada on October 30, while they were out to cover the poll preparations in the area ahead of the upcoming assembly elections.
In another attack, four CRPF jawans were killed in Chhattisgarh’s Awapalli on October 27.
