In an appalling incident, an eight-year-old boy killed an innocent child of one and a half years in a cruel manner. He killed him because the child’s sister had beaten his brother. The incident happened in Fatehpur Beri of South Delhi.
According to the police, a half-year-old child was sleeping with his mother Geeta on Sunday night. Monday morning the mother got to know that the child was missing from some time in the night. This happened when Alok’s mother got awake at four o’clock in the morning. Geeta saw that the child is not on the bed and is missing.
Following which, everyone started searching for the boy. At around 7 am in the morning, the body of Alok was found in a dirty drain. Alok’s eyes face and ears were found to be injured. During this time, there was also information that another child who was living in Alok’s neighborhood was missing. The child’s age was told about eight and a half years.
The people of the region started searching for the child along with the police. During the search, he was found. This child also disappeared when Alok went missing.
When police found something fishy in the matter, he started to question the rescued child. It was then the 8-year-old confessed his crime and told everything to the police.
The child told that he had killed Alok. He raised him and dipped it in a water tank several times. After that, he was thrown into the drain at a distance from the house. The drain was not deeper and water-filled. That’s why the body of Alok was discovered soon.
He will be produced before the Juvenile Justice Board, police said.
