Agra: Reportedly, a woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances in her apartment in Firozabad district. Her 9-year-old daughter alleged that the woman’s husband has thrashed the victim to death after she refused to give him money for liquor and since then the husband is absconding.
The woman identified as Shakuntala Nishad (32) was a mother of four children and was married to Satyapal Nishad for nearly a decade.
Station house officer of Nagla Singhi said that police was informed about her death by victim’s nine-year-old daughter Guddiya and she had claimed that her father Satyapal beau tip her mother after she denied to give him money to buy liquor. After she fell unconscious, her husband and his elder brother took her to hospital but she died on the way. Following that they brought her body back home and fled.
As per her daughter’s claim, she was assaulted but no external injuries were found on the body. Police have sent the body for autopsy and the report is awaited for the cause of the death. The police said that after the reports they will make the necessary arrests.
