In a shocking news, a man allegedly raped his niece for four year and when arrested, claimed that “he was treating her manglik dosh.”
According to the police, the accused, who is the paternal uncle of the victim, raped her regularly during the period of four years. He even called her after her marriage. The accused told the victim that if the ‘dosh’ was not corrected her father would die. However, the woman thought of sharing her ordeal with her father-in-law.
With the support of father-in-law, woman filed an FIR against her uncle Narela Police Station on September 13.
The police contacted the Delhi Commission for Women to provide counselling to the victim.
