Elon Musk Unveils New Twitter Logo Design: Sunday, Twitter owner Elon Musk took to the microblogging platform to declare a change to the Twitter logo. The CEO of Tesla also revealed the new Twitter logo on the company’s social media platform, naming it ‘X’.

“Soon, we will say goodbye to the Twitter brand and, eventually, to all the birds. If a sufficient X logo is uploaded tonight, we’ll make it live globally tomorrow”, tweeted Elon Musk.

“If a good enough X logo is posted tonight, we’ll make it live worldwide tomorrow,” he added. According to reports, Twitter is now a subsidiary of X Corp following a merger. Elon Musk alluded at this on Twitter by posting the letter ‘X’. Musk is promoting his artificial intelligence firm, xAI, which he claims will “understand the universe.”

Twitter is also limiting the number of direct messages unverified accounts can send per day. Users who do not have a verified badge or a Twitter Blue subscription will be affected by the changes starting on Friday, according to the platform.

The company did not disclose the precise DM limit, but suggested that users who wish to send an unlimited number of direct messages will have to subscribe to Twitter Blue, a paid service that costs Rs 900 per month in India and offers additional features and perks.

In addition, Elon Musk recently requested that Twitter users become verified subscribers, claiming that they can earn thousands of dollars per month through advertising revenue sharing.

Without explaining how they can do this without registering 5 million impressions per month and having more than 10,000 followers — the two main requirements for earning money through ad revenue sharing on Twitter — he asked them to join the paid Twitter Blue subscription.
