The trailer opens with Amerie, Darren, and Quinn starting school. Amerie starts again nervously, mindful that the previous term’s turmoil has not subsided. Amerie’s classmates support her, yet her peers remember her mistakes. A mysterious intruder rudely interrupts Amerie’s peaceful time.
Cash reveals his asexuality to Darren as they negotiate their relationship. Malakai and new student Rowan trap Amerie in a love quadrangle. Spencer and Ant face complicated situations that add to school stress.
Zoe Clark, played by Kartanya Maynard, and Rowan Callaghan, played by Sam Retcher, are two newcomers to the cast. The Season 1 cast members return, ensuring a season filled with both familiar characters and new obstacles.
