Anyway, the teaser kicks off with Mimoh Chakraborty wandering into some pitch-black forest and he ends up at the creepiest mansion you’ve ever seen. You get all the classic horror stuff: dead silence, weird whispers, shadows doing the absolute most, and a jump-scare demon just when you think you’ve caught your breath. The teaser ends with some super-dramatic lines: “Some secrets are meant to be buried… some refuse to stay quiet. The mansion awaits. The shadows whisper. The unseen is watching.” Pretty much your cue to leave the lights on tonight.

Behind all this spooky madness, you’ve got the Bhatt squad Vikram Bhatt, Mahesh Bhatt, and Anand Pandit coming together again after scaring the pants off everyone with 1920: Horrors of the Heart. Vikram’s got this reputation as Bollywood’s horror king, and he’s promising even crazier scares and, apparently, more feels this time around. So, not just ghosts bring a tissue too, I guess. Mahesh Bhatt and Anand Pandit are hyping it up as a worthy follow-up to the OG Haunted 3D.

On the acting front, Mimoh is back doing what he does best, looking terrified in haunted houses. He’s joined by Chetna Pande, Shruti Prakash, Gaurav Bajpai, Praneet Bhatt, and Hemant Pandey. Haunted Ghosts of the Past 3D hits theaters on November 21, 2025. Just in time for you to drag your friends out and scream your head off before the year wraps up. BookMyShow and The Times of India are backing up the date, so yeah, mark your calendars.
Fans, as usual, are split. Some are stoked to see the Haunted franchise rise from the grave. Others are already roasting the teaser for going overboard on green screens and CGI. And, of course, the old-timers are reminiscing about the 2011 original and its legit 3D effects and spooky real locations. Internet comments are a wild mix of hype and eye-rolls, so the movie’s got its work cut out for it.
Speaking of the OG, Haunted 3D (2011) was a pretty big deal, first stereoscopic 3D horror flick in India, and it actually made some serious cash. Mimoh, Tia Bajpai, Arif Zakaria, they kinda killed it. That movie cemented Vikram Bhatt’s horror cred and set the bar for everything that followed.
