Himachal Pradesh: Police bust Rave Party near Kasol; organisers arrested

While patrolling the police heard loud music near a cafe at about 1.15 am and found about 150 persons partying there. These mostly consist of tourists and foreigners who were dancing there.

The Kullu Police on 19th December raided a rave party at Chhalal village near Kasol, Himachal Pradesh. Police at the spot arrested organizers and seized the DJ equipment as per The Tribune

While patrolling the police heard loud music near a cafe at about 1.15 am and found about 150 persons partying there. These mostly consist of tourists and foreigners who were dancing there. After spotting the police they all just fled up.  This was confirmed by Kullu SP Gaurav Singh. 

Rishabh Bhadaula (25) of Rishikesh, Uttarakhand was arrested for operating the DJ without permission by putting up a stage. While organizers Dinesh Kumar (33) of Jari and Ankur Parik (34) of Agra were arrested for organizing the party and assembling a gathering of about 150 persons violating the guidelines issued by the state government during the Covid pandemic.   

The SP also stated the DJ’s material was additionally seized. He brought that a case was registered under section 6 of the Himachal Pradesh Instrument Act, sections 188 and 269 of IPC, and section 51 of the NDM Act.
