WhatsApp is a messaging app with over one billion active users. It’s been around for over five years and it continues to grow in popularity. One of the features that makes WhatsApp so great is the ability to star messages.
Here’s how to star a message on WhatsApp.
Open WhatsApp on your phone
Tap the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen
Select Settings
Scroll down to Message History and tap it. (If you don’t see Message History, tap More…)
Tap the three lines in the top right corner of the message history screen
Select Star. (If you don’t see Star, tap More…)
Select Save.

Tap on the “Settings” icon
Scroll down to “WhatsApp” and tap on it.
To star a message: On the main screen, tap on the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen. Tap on the “Star” button next to the message you want to star. To save a message for later: On the main screen, tap on the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen. Tap on the “Save” button next to the message you want to save.
How to send WhatsApp messages without typing on Android
Select “New Message”
1. Tap on the three lines in the top left corner of the screen.
2. Select “Star” from the options that appear.
3. Type a message and press the “Star” button.
4. You will now see a selection of saved messages in which you can choose to send as is, reply to all, or mark as unread.
5. If you wish, you can also delete a message by swiping it to the left and selecting “Delete”.
How to receive money on WhatsApp via UPI
Tap on the star icon next to the message you want to save
1. Open the WhatsApp app
2. Tap on the three lines in the top left corner of the message
3. Tap on Save Message
Select “Save As” and name the message
1. Open WhatsApp on your phone
2. Tap on the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen (the ones with the contacts listed)
3. On the menu that pops up, tap on “Star” (\) 4. In the star-shaped selection box that appears, tap on one of the stars next to the message you want to save
5. Name and save the message as you see fit
6. Once you’re done, swipe left to dismiss the menu and return to your messages
