New Delhi, April 2 (IANS) Late last month, the New York-based India Abroad shut down its print edition, bringing an end to a storied 50-year run. Unfortunately, some amateur media watchers have confused this with the closure of IANS, or the Indo-Asian News Service.
This is to assure all our well wishers and subscribers in India and elsewhere that we at IANS are right at our station 24×7, doing what we best do, that is bring you the widest news coverage. This is what has made us the largest independent news-wire in India.
We are proud of our talented team of media professionals who are committed to their subscribers and indeed to the thrill of explaining a dynamic world to readers. We will not abandon our post at any time, the best of times or worst of times.
