iPhone 15 Pro: The next iPhone 15 Pro is anticipated to represent a significant improvement over the current model. It is said to have a titanium frame, a USB-C port, and a periscope zoom lens. According to a new claim, it may have up to 1TB of storage space and 8GB of RAM.
Apple has reportedly tested storage configurations with capacities of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Similar storage options to those found on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max would be available. Apple was rumored to provide a 2TB storage option for the iPhone 15 Pro, but according to MacRumors, there is no evidence to back up this claim.
Apple Event Date Leaked: iPhone 15 Series Launch Rumored for This Date
For the iPhone 15 Pro’s RAM, Apple intends to employ LPDDR5 DRAM. Although it’s unknown which Memory configuration Apple will use for the final, mass-produced machines, MacRumors reports that both a 6GB and an 8GB RAM configuration were tested.
However, the RAM setup may change based on the phone’s storage capacity. Yet according to a recent TrendForce report, Apple will equip every iPhone 15 Pro model with 8GB of RAM. So, it’s possible that the 6GB variant was dropped. Samsung, Micron, and SK Hynix are supposedly the manufacturers of the Memory for the upcoming iPhones.
In the end, we won’t know for sure what storage and RAM options will Apple provide until the iPhone 15 series is formally introduced tonight at the Wanderlust event.
