After facing a tough defeat in their season opener Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Mumbai Indians (MI) will be looking for their first win of the IPL 2019. Skipper Virat Kohli’s RCB will host the 7th match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 against Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians on Thursday at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

RCB conceded their first game against the defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) while MI faced their opening loss against Delhi Capitals (DC).

Match Details:

  • The IPL 2019, match 7- RCB vs MI will take place at 08:00 PM IST.
  • The match will be played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Wicketkeeper: Parthiv Patel will be standing behind the wickets for Royal Challengers Bangalore while for Mumbai Indians, Quinton de Kock will be holding the post of the wicketkeeper. While both the wicketkeeper-batsmen possess a couple of similarities like they both are openers for their relative teams and are left-handed batsmen.

Batsmen: For RCB, skipper Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers are capable of setting a huge target and also to chase a mammoth of a target. They will be accompanied by West Indies’ batsman Shimron Hetmyer. MI skipper Rohit Sharma and Yuvraj Singh are the two batsmen for MI who are expected to contribute much with the bat.

All-rounders: RCB will be playing with Australian all-rounder Coln de Grandhomme and England’ Moen Ali while for MI Kieron Pollard and Hardik Pandya are the most significant all-rounders.

Bowlers: Mohammad Siraj and Umesh Yadav are the prime pace bowling attack for RCB whereas MI’s pace attack would be led by Jasprit Bumrah and Mitchell McClenaghan. Youngster Rasikh Salam will also assist in the pace bowling attack for MI. For RCB, Yuzvendra Chahal and for MI, Krunal Pandya will lead the spin bowling attack.

Captain: Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers are expected to blast off the bowling attack of MI and are the contenders for Dream 11 captains. On the other side, MI will be having high hopes with Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock.
