IPL 2023 Format
IPL 16 group stage matches will continue until May 21. On May 21, the final match between Gujarat Titans and Royal Challengers Bangalore will be played at the Chennasamy Stadium.
After this, there will be 2 qualifying matches and 1 elimination match. The playoffs will feature the best four teams. The first and second-place teams will have two opportunities to reach the finals.
The third and fourth-ranked teams must win two consecutive postseason matches to advance to the championship game.
