The semi-final games of FIH Women’s Series Finals Valencia 2019 will take place today, June 26, 2019. In the first of the semis Canada Women will face Italy Women. Canada have been unbeaten in the tournament. The North American giant drew 1-1 in their first league game against Spain, but since then the team has played some phenomenal hockey. They defeated Namibia 17-0 before winning against Belarus 3-0.
Italy, on the other hand, have lost one game. It was their second game of the tournament when South Africa Women got better of them beating the European team 2-1.

The women’s team made its first international appearance at the 1978 Women’s Hockey World Cup in Madrid, Spain, finishing in fifth place.
