Jharkhand: Snatchers’ bike runs out of petrol, duo gets caught by police

In Jharkhand‘s capital city of Ranchi, two snatchers were arrested by the police after their bike ran out of petrol.

Two youths grabbed hold of a man’s purse and a mobile phone. The man tried to keep his purse and phone from snatching but was overpowered by the two.

According to the police, while the accused were fleeing from the scene, their bike ran out of petrol. Post-robbery, the two went to a nearby petrol pump where they were chased down by the sufferer. Observing the fight between the parties, the police arrested the two accused.

Earlier, some criminals looted Rs 40 lakh from a Punjab National Bank situated in Jharkhand’s Dumka.
