JPSC invites applications for 79 Assistant Professor posts in medical colleges

A Post Graduate Qualification in MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject will be eligible to apply

JPSC to appoint Assistant Professor in medical colleges, application withdrawn

New Delhi: After calling off three examinations within a month’s time the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has now invited applications for the same.

The application process for the appointment of Assistant Professor in Medical Colleges began on Tuesday, October 22. The last date for application submission is November 12.

The new advertisement released by the commission, mentions vacancy for 79 posts. Of the 79 posts, 1 posts for unreserved category, 24 for ST category, 16 for SC, 20 for BC-1 category, 3 for BC-2 category, 15 posts are fixed for the IWS category.

As per the advertisement released by JPSC below is the number of vacancies per field of expertise

  • Biochemistry – 1 Post
  • Pathology – 2 Posts
  • Microbiology – 1 Post
  • FMT – 1 Post
  • Pharmacology – 1 Post
  • PSS – 5 Posts
  • Medicine – 7 Posts
  • TB Chest – 4 Posts
  • Dermalogy – 1 Post
  • Infant Disease – 3 Posts
  • Bone – 5 Posts
  • ENT – 3 Posts
  • Eye – 4 Posts
  • Woman and Proposal – 3 Posts
  • Radiology – 5 Posts
  • Anaesthesia – 11 Posts
  • Blood Overdose – 1 Post
  • Skin and Vaginal Disease – 5 Posts
  • Psychosis – 4 Posts

Eligibility Criteria for JPSC Medical Faculty Recruitment 2019

Academic Qualification: A Post Graduate Qualification in MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject.

Age Limit:

General – 45 years
EBC/BC- 47 years
Women/BC – 48 years
SC/ST – 50 years

Printed application to be sent after an online application

The Do not upload any documents during the online application. The general category candidates will have to pay Rs 600, while SC-ST candidates will require to pay Rs 150 as part of the application process.

After completing the application form students are required to take a print out of the same and along with the self-attested documents related to education, residence and reservation, are expected to send the same to the JPSC office by November 20, 2019. It has to be sent by registered post or speed post.
