On November 8, Twitter suspended Lok Sabha TV journalist, Jagrati Shukla’s account. Jagrati Shukla has been in news for months, for her hate-mongering tweets. She has tweeted in the past that Sikhs deserved 1984 massacre.

Recently, in a tweet which talked about Kashmiri civilians getting injured with pellets, she said, he would have preferred the use of real bullets instead. Various social activists and journalists wrote to Twitter, calling for account’s suspension.

Jagrati Shukla has been on a hate-tweet spree for a long time now.

She earlier made an acrimonious statement, calling for a genocide in Kashmir. Her tweet read, “If we need to commit genocide in Kashmir Valley to get rid of all these terrorists and their aides, then lets do it. #UnitedAgainstTerror.”

On the death of Journalist Gauri Lankesh, Jagrati had tweeted, “So, Commy Gauri Lankesh has been murdered mercilessly. Your deeds always come back to haunt you, they say. Amen.#Bengaluru#GauriLankesh”.

This year, Jagrati Shukla was hired by the government-run TV channel, Lok Sabha TV.
