Luann de Lesseps was born LuAnn Nadeau in Berlin, Connecticut, and she grew up with six siblings. Her maiden name reflects her father’s Algonquin and French ancestry, as well as her mother’s French Canadian ancestry. While little is known about her early life, de Lesseps has revealed that she was the softball team captain in high school.
