BJP president Amit Shah was today shown black flags by Karni Sena in Shivpuri. However, police arrested the Sena supporters and eradicated the troublemakers from the rally spot. Karni Sena alleged BJP over adopting the callous attitude towards upper caste on SC/ST Act. Karni Sena also shouted slogans against BJP and Amit Shah during the protest.
Expressing resentments towards BJP led Madhya Pradesh government, Karni Sena along with several other organizations have launched a massive campaign against Saffron party. BJP, which is facing anti-incumbency in the state after three straight terms, is trying to retain its traditional vote bank in the state. Shah was on a visit to Gwalior-Chambal division for BJP campaigning and to pump up the party workers.
