Madhya Pradesh: Prabhat Jha defends Nandkumar Singh Chauhan over attack on toll booth employees

A video recording captured on CCTV camera showed two toll booth employees were critically injured after allegedly getting thrashed by BJP MP Nandkumar Singh Chauhan and his aides in Kolaras of Shivpuri district on Friday. However, BJP national vice-president Prabhat Jha on Sunday supported the BJP leader Nandkumar Singh Chauhan over the alleged attack.

Prabhat Jha stated that “I agree that, the incident happened, but Nandkumar Ji kept his cool and his behaviour was appropriate. He is a respectable leader and employees of a toll both can’t speak to a member of parliament like that”.

In the footage of the incident, it can be very clearly seen, that toll employees were badly beaten by Nandkumar Singh Chauhan and his aides. Nandkumar Singh Chauhan is the former Madhya Pradesh BJP chief and also a sitting MP from Khandwa.

Prabhat Jha is highly active in campaigning for BJP in Madhya Pradesh and highly vocal on issues related to the state. Earlier, Jha dared Congress leader and MP from Guna, Jyotiraditya Scindia to change his constituency.
