Ahead of the assembly election in Madhya Pradesh, BJP chief Amit Shah has fielded Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan as party’s election in-charge for the state. BJP along with Dharmendra Pradhan also declared Prakash Javadekar for Rajasthan and JP Nadda for Telangana as party election in-charges for the respective states. Earlier, these Union Ministers have handled assembly election for the BJP and considering that experience, the party decided to field them in poll-bound states, a BJP spokesperson said on Thursday. Also, Sambit Patra will be in Madhya Pradesh to deal with media.
However, move to field Dharmendra Pradhan came as a big setback for Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
As sources claimed that, Union minister will involve in every action of state unit and would directly report to Amit Shah. Also, there is a buzz around political circles of Madhya Pradesh that Pradhan will also play a vital role in damage control pertaining to upper-caste resentment towards state government.

As per the reports, after the inclusion of Pradhan in state affairs, Shivraj will take a back seat in party matters and chief minister will be focusing on campaigning for the upcoming polls. Pradhan is considered as a close aide of Amit Shah and Union Minister can also project a new a team in Madhya Pradesh, sources claimed.
