Days before assembly elections candidates from almost all political parties are trying their very best to please voters. In the series of such incidents, one new case has just come to light. Rashtriya Aamjan Party’s candidate Sharad Singh Kumar was seen polishing the shoes of voters.

Talking to media, Singh said, “It was a free poll symbol that no one was willing to take. We took it and we will turn it into a blessing”.

Madhya Pradesh is set to go for polls on November 28 for 230 constituencies, while the results will be announced on December 11.

Earlier, Akula Hanumanth, an independent candidate contesting from Korutla assembly of Jagtial district in Telangana, was seen distributing slippers to voters and asking them “Hit me with it, if I don’t deliver”.

The 45-year-old, Akula decided to fight the elections, as he felt there was no improvement in the quality of life in Korutla.
