NEW DELHI: Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education is expected to announce the Maharashtra Board result 2020 in the third and fourth week of June 2020. The evaluation process has been speeded up. The result will be made available online on the official website of board at mahresult.nic.in.
Earlier, it was likely that the result will be declared by June 10, 2020. But, it has been postponed because of the pending evaluation work.
More than 31 lakh students are eagerly waiting for Maharashtra Board result 2020.
Answer sheets evaluation work:
The board began the evaluation work of answer copies on May 6, 2020. As of now, the evaluation work is not finished, which has deferred the Maharashtra Board result 2020 announcement.
About 42 lakh out of which 50 lakh answer sheets have been evaluated in Mumbai division, which is the largest division of Maharashtra board, as per media reports.
This year, 3,91,991 students had appeared for secondary exams (class 10th) and 3,39,014 appeared for higher secondary exams (class 12th) in Mumbai division.

How to check Maharashtra Board result 2020:
- Visit the official website: mahresult.nic.in.
- On the home page, click on the respective link of result as per student’s class.
- Enter the roll number of a student in the result window followed by his/her mother’s first name.
- Now, click on the ‘View Result’ button.
- Maharashtra Board result 2020 will be displayed on the screen and save it for future use.
