A special NIA court granted bail to two accused, Sudhakar Chaturvedi and Sudhakar Dwivedi alias Shankaracharya in the 2008 Malegaon bomb blast case on Tuesday. Both the accused were facing conspiracy charges and were granted bail by judge SD Tekale.
The duo was accused of attending conspiracy meetings, where the terror attack was conspired. The two key accused in the case, Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur and Lt Col Prasad Shrikant Purohit, were granted bail earlier.
While Bombay HC granted bail to Thakur earlier this year, Purohit was specified bail by Supreme Court last month. Six were killed and almost 100 people were injured when a bomb exploded in Malegaon in Nashik in September, 2008.
