In a chilling incident reported from South Avenue, a 52-year-old man was found dead. He was the husband of the maid who was working at the Delhi house of Dimond Harbor Lok Sabha MP and TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee. Abhishek is also the nephew of Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee.
Deceased Suresh was staying at the Servent quarter of the house with his wife and children. Few years back he was working as a driver to the MP. In the initial probe it was revealed that Suresh was involved in the region’s betting market.
The police have acquired the CCTV footage which captured visuals of 2 youths. Suresh’s body was recovered from the first floor of the building. According to the reports, he was stabed.
Suresh’s wife told police, she was out with their son, while Suresh was at home. When she returned, she found Suresh’ dead body.
